Reflecting on 2024: Bam & Stitch's Year of Growth and Community
- by Bam & Stitch
Wow, what a year it's been! From the very first spark of Bam & Stitch, we knew we were starting something truly special. 2024 has been a whirlwind of heartwarming milestones, exciting launches, and unforgettable connections. This year wasn't just about creating bamboo babywear - it was about building a community filled with love, laughter, and shared joy.
So grab a cup of coffee (or tea, we're all about cozy moments), and let's take a walk down memory lane together to celebrate the magical moments that made 2024 one for the books.
The official U.S. launch of Bam & Stitch was everything we'd dreamed of and more. Our first collections, Enchanted Holiday and Paw-some Surprise, weren't just practical - they were downright adorable! Seeing parents discover us while looking for hypoallergenic, soft, and sustainable options for their little ones was incredibly rewarding.
This inspired us to launch our Bam & Stitch VIP Facebook Group - a space where parents could connect, swap real-life parenting tips, and, of course, share those irresistible baby outfit pics. What started as a simple group quickly grew into a community where we celebrate everything from first words to bedtime routines.
With the incredible response to our first collections, we felt motivated to dream even bigger. October saw the launch of our Children of the World print, celebrating inclusivity and diversity. We wanted to remind kids (and grown-ups) that kindness knows no borders.
We also introduced our first Signature Collection, Playfully Strong, featuring our iconic elephant - a nod to resilience and playfulness. These prints weren't just cozy for winter nights; they symbolized the heart of what we stand for.
This month we joined the FAIRE Wholesale Marketplace, bringing our bamboo babywear to a platform where likeminded small businesses and community leaders can bring our products and overall vision of babywear to even more families.
October was also the first time we partnered with a non-profit organization. FARE, a foundation dedicated to food allergy education and research, is a cause that's close to the hearts of many of our friends, family, and customers.
November felt like a dream come true. We introduced four new prints that captured the whimsical joy of childhood.
As parents of kids with allergies, we created the All the Milks! print to promote inclusivity for children with diverse dietary needs. Featuring a variety of milk cartons, this design helps all kids feel seen and encourages awareness of the different dietary needs we might face as we grow!
The Farm Fresh limited edition print was made to inspire healthy eating and to encourage a positive connection with nutritious foods. Featuring colorful fruits and veggies, this print encourages kids to explore, enjoy, and celebrate the diversity of natural foods while promoting conversations about balanced eating and growth.
It's Morphing Time! celebrates the magical journey of transformation, from caterpillar to butterfly. This vibrant print sparks curiosity and imagination, encouraging kids to dream big and embrace their own growth. Whether they're crawling, playing, or twirling, It's Morphing Time! makes every outfit a celebration of their extraordinary journey!
Orchid Gardens, another print from our Signature Collection, brings floral magic to little wardrobes. Featuring colorful orchids on a bright purple background, this playful print transforms outfits into whimsical adventures. Each piece invites children to explore, imagine, and embrace the beauty of nature while adding a splash of joy and color to their day!
Each and every one of our prints is made with our signature bamboo fabric; designed to grow with your child and keep them comfy at every stage.
We also hit an exciting milestone: 10,000 followers on Instagram! This felt like a giant virtual hug from all of you, showing how much love and support our community brings to Bam & Stitch.
Giving back remained at the heart of our journey, and this month, we donated a portion of our holiday sales to the Feeding America Foundation. Supporting such an important cause during the season of giving was truly a highlight for our team.
December was filled with firsts that left us smiling from ear-to-ear. Our eco-friendly babywear made its way into homes around the world, reaching Taiwan, Canada, and even Australia! It was incredible to see Bam & Stitch spreading joy across the globe.
We also hosted our first pop-up event at the Holiday Fair in Arcadia, California! Meeting members of our community in person was an unforgettable experience. Putting faces to the names we've connected with online made the day extra special. Inspired by this success, we joined the MAUM Market at the iconic ROW in Downtown Los Angeles, where even more families got to experience Bam & Stitch firsthand. Looking ahead to 2025, we can't wait to plan more events like these!
To end the year on a high note, we donated a portion of our December sales to the Toys For Tots foundation, spreading a little extra holiday cheer to children in need.
At Bam & Stitch, we've always believed that being a parent is about more than dressing your little ones (though we do love those adorable outfit pics!). It's about creating a supportive, encouraging community where parents can connect and celebrate the beautiful chaos of raising kids.
Whether you've shared a photo, joined our Facebook group, or simply liked a post, you've helped us grow into something truly special. Thank you being part of this journey with us.
As we close out 2024, our hearts are full of gratitude. Every milestone, memory, and connection we've made this year has been possible because of you - our incredible Bam & Stitch family.
Here's to more joy, love, and adventures in 2025!
